INTRODUCTION
The Stomatology Unit, which was established in 1967, is the only Oral Pathology diagnostic laboratory in the Ministry of Health and has the largest collection of biopsy specimens for oral cancer and precancer in the country. This Unit continues to carry out clinico-pathological studies of these cancers in Malaysians.
