Activities of Biomedical Museum

Biomedical Museum collects and houses many exotic items such as dry specimens of small mammals, rodents, squirrels, flying squirrels and flying foxes. There are also preserved wet specimens of reptiles, amphibians and mammals, such as snakes, frogs and bats.

This museum also provides researchers with the facilities and as a source of references in the study of zoonatic diseases and their modes of transmission.

Other activities involve exhibition ‘Snake vs Snake’ and exhibition on venomous animal are carried out from time to time in collaboration with Department of Museum, Malaysia.
